Tuesday, July 27, 2010. For several months, our 2005 Range Rover has sporadically made a high pitch electronic squealing sound with a duration of roughly 15 seconds. The noise seems to happen from the dash area on the passenger side of the car. Gradually, the sounds has been occurring more frequent. I decided enough was enough and I tried to track down the issue, it was a little mysterious, but after some research I have narrowed down the issue to the ECU Fan.
